What brings you peace?
Every morning as I wake, pray and then look out of the window, at the dawn’s soft light breaking through, and I’m reminded of a profound truth.

Everything I see, from the droplets of dew on the grass to the gentle stirrings of my children in their beds, belongs to Allah.
There’s a tranquility in this realization. The weight of the world eases off my shoulders, knowing that every event, big or small, is part of His grand design.
I’ve had my share of challenges in life. Moments when I’ve felt lost or overwhelmed, wondering where the next turn would lead.
But when I sit with my family at the dinner table, sharing stories and laughter, I’m reminded that every trial we face is under His watchful eyes.
The highs, the lows, and everything in between are but a test of our faith and patience. Every hurdle we’ve overcome has been by His will, guiding us, strengthening our bonds, and leading us to where we are meant to be.
In the stillness of the night, when the world is quiet and my thoughts wander, I often think of the legacy I want to leave behind for my children. It’s not wealth or fame, but the understanding that everything they have and will have comes from Allah.
I want them to feel that enduring peace in their hearts, to know that when life’s storms rage, they have the anchor of faith to hold onto, and that they’re never truly alone.
Sometimes, in the hustle and bustle of daily life, I forget. I get caught up in the petty grievances, the small worries.
But then, there are moments – a smile from my daughter, a word of wisdom from my wife, or the simple joy of a family gathering – that bring me back to center.
It’s in these moments that I realize how blessed I am, and I am humbled by the mercy and grace of Allah that envelopes my life.
As I grow older, I find that my perspective on life has shifted. The things that once seemed so crucial now appear trivial in comparison to the eternal.
My family’s love, the kindness we share, and our unwavering faith are the real treasures. Every night, as I lay down beside my loved ones, I offer a prayer of gratitude to Allah.
For it is in recognizing His omnipresence in every facet of our lives that we find true serenity and peace. (clint)
